In light of the latest developments regarding the global spread of COVID-19, Picanol has announced that it will restart production at its plant in Ieper (Belgium - Machines & Technologies segment) on a step-by-step basis with effect from today, Tuesday, April 14, 2020.
Based on the recommendations from the WHO and the relevant local authorities, Picanol has already taken a comprehensive set of health and safety initiatives in order to protect its employees and others from the disease and keep its plants and its businesses running as normal.
Picanol would like to inform its stakeholders that it is monitoring the information from the World Health Organization (WHO) and local authorities.
Picanol will be present at AFRO STITCH & TEX from March 5 to 8 at the booth of its agent for the region, Nobeltex (Booth B1, Hall 5). This trade fair is dedicated to textile processing technologies and this is the tenth time that the event will be held in Egypt.
2020 will be another busy year for Picanol when it comes to attending textile machinery fairs. We will be present in a number of cities throughout the world, including Istanbul, Shanghai, Atlanta, and Delhi! In November 2019, Team Picanol de Mexico organized the ‘Picanol Roadshow Puebla’ event in collaboration with the IDIT (Instituto de Desarrollo e Innovación Tecnologica).
