Roadshow in Mexico

The ‘Picanol Roadshow Puebla’ event in November 2019 was a joint initiative from Team Picanol de Mexico and the IDIT (Instituto de Desarrollo e Innovación Tecnologica), which belongs to Universidad Iberoamericana de Puebla and the local Textile Chamber of Puebla & Tlaxcala (CITEX). Invitees to this event included existing customers and prospects from Puebla & Tlaxcala, as well as a number of Textile Design students. The aim behind the event was to focus on the latest developments regarding rapier and airjet weaving with the aim of meeting the challenges presented by Industry 4.0 and Sustainability. During the event, a Picanol OptiMax-i-4-R-220 machine was live in production and it weaved a shirting article.
