Picanol recently had the opportunity to put forward a colleague to be one of the guest speakers at the Weaving Conference, organized by the UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT), in Huddersfield, United Kingdom. This conference brings together industry experts and consisted of a comprehensive recap of the most important innovation trends from ITMA 2023, as well as the latest trends in weaving innovation and technology. Therefore, those attending got to explore key topics such as AI, robotics, and cloud systems via several insightful presentations.
The latest updates applied to our high-tech weaving machines were shared by our Sales Manager, Tony Decock. This was done during an interesting presentation he made to an audience that in total represented more than 30 different companies. Tony highlighted the benefits of our brand-new revolutionary Ultimax rapier weaving machine and emphasized how Picanol is fully committed to its main design principle, “Driven by Data.” This is achieved by developing smart and energy-efficient weaving machines, as well as by offering a wide range of features, from industrial IoT to service-related applications through PicConnect, our online platform. Our consistent investments in a modern and sustainable production site were also highlighted.
We would like to thank the UKFT for giving us this opportunity and also to express our appreciation to the audience for the interest they showed.
