We were delighted to host Peter Hill, Director Woven Fabrics at Heathcoat Fabrics, for a keynote session at the Picanol headquarters in Ieper (Belgium). Heathcoat Fabrics, which is one of our valued customers, is a leading British company that produces technical textiles for various industries including automotive, aerospace and healthcare, among others.
Peter Hill gave an engaging presentation to a large group of international Field Engineers and Picanol colleagues from Ieper. He introduced us to the world of Heathcoat Fabrics, its rich history, its strengths and focus areas. He also shared some of its innovative projects, such as the development and production of parachutes for NASA and ESA (European Space Agency). We learned how Heathcoat Fabrics ensures the highest quality parachutes that are capable performing under very extreme conditions, and why Heathcoat Fabrics confidently chose Picanol weaving machines for its parachute production. Our colleagues were able to go more into detail with Peter Hill during a closing reception. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Peter Hill for his captivating and inspiring presentation. And we look forward to continuing to grow together with Heathcoat Fabrics in the future.
