PicConnect offers a wide range of tools to help you manage and optimize styles and settings. Style management is used to create and manage a library of the different styles that are produced. For each style, all the relevant information can be stored and tracked, such as the technical specifications of the style.
Furthermore, the master settings can be linked to each style. These master settings contain the optimal or reference settings for the style. During a style change, the weaver can send the master settings from PicConnect to the machine. This saves time and also helps you ensure that you are starting with the correct and optimal settings. This in turn results in good product quality, as well as offering greater efficiency and less energy consumption.
These settings can be visualized in the setting editor, where you can obtain an intuitive overview of the most relevant settings. They can also be edited in order to finetune the performance of your machines.
An additional feature is the ability to compare the settings of two different machines or compare the actual settings of a machine with the master settings. Differences between the two are highlighted and settings can be copied from one file to another. After the settings have been changed or copied, you can then start to synchronize all your machines with just a couple of clicks.
