Weaving from creel made easy 

Thanks to Picanol's combination of false beam arrangement and the drawing-in section, weaving from creel is now fully integrated. 

When weft densities are low or when warp ends become coarse, weaving from warp beams starts to reduce productivity because of too frequent beam changes. For such applications, the OptiMax-i can be equipped with a false beam and a drawing-in section that allows weaving from creels. 
The drawing-in section gathers the cords from the creel in a horizontal and vertical direction into one sheet and at the desired width. An added warp stop motion with independent sensitivity can stop the process before broken cords reach the weaving machine. A compensating function is standard for coping with variations in feeding speed.
