The right cutting moment for every yarn

The cutting moment of the SmartCut – driven by a motor – can be optimized for each individual filling yarn or channel, in order to minimize filling stops and maximize weaving performance and quality.

Some fabrics have a quite big range of filling yarns, such as upholstery, mattress ticking, fancy voile, ladies wear etc. With the SmartCut, the right cutting time can be set for every yarn, from very coarse to the finest yarn counts.

The SmartCut is microprocessor controlled. Adjustments per channel can easily be performed on the display. As it is an electronic setting, values will be stored together with pattern and machine settings to remain available for later use.
