The new-generation sley cams are designed and produced by Picanol. The optimized reed motion is invaluable for coping with unclear sheds, affording more insertion time at even higher speeds.

Thanks to the new design the available insertion time is increased. There is also the advantage that the insertion channel is further away from the beat-up point, minimizing the chance that the flight of the filling yarn is disturbed by warp ends not opening properly.
